Heres a thought I have been kicking around. Can the Ikea racks be cut into replacement shelves for my Target TT3 rack? If so, would I be losing the benefits of Ken's original design? I currently have the stock MDF shelves, but want to get them out of there. I had an interesting event happen with some DIY isolation bases I built. It was 3 levels made of MDF with Wagner Isopads inbetween one, and a cup and ball arrangement in the second level. It worked in my system with some very forward speakers. But once I changed them out, everything else was extremely dead in the midrange, and the bass just droned on. I ended up pulling everything out but the isopads. Its a shame since I have alot of hours into those platforms. Oh well, live and learn. Anywyas, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.Regards
