See above re the WBT solder.Regarding Indium, you're not wrong Narelle! I was briefly playing with using damped carbon fibre as hook up wire and investigated indium solder as a joining method, since indium will wet almost anything (apparently including glass).
It was cheaper to plate the carbon with pure silver (I bought an Oz silver dollar, which is 99.9% silver (and costs $AUD25).
