For certain applications, it certainly is worth the time to build a bridge out of the Cree diodes. My Adcom amp uses 2 bridge rectifiers at 40amps, so the FRED bridge works for me in this application.I might just have to build a CREE bridge for my Lite DAC 60 to give it a comparo between the two types. I will be doing surgery on the DAC this weekend. :)
