I haven't tried the Hovlands.

But i did the change out the outpupt coupling caps on my Audio Research Tube Preamp from InfiniCap to the Mundorf Supreme Silver/Oil and it was fanstastic (i love it). Be warned though that at the start it sounded really horrible and took quite a long time to run-in. It was huge improvement in the sound, if i were to describe i would be using many words. Simply put , i was very thrilled! You have to try for yourself....
Well, know that there is one more very delighted person with the Mundorf Silver/Oils.
