All six surfaces of the listening room must be as ridgid as possible to contain the bass waves and their energy. The best solution would be to replace the drop-in suspended ceiling with 3/4" particle board, with acess panels where necessary. The good news is that your system is apparently producing some more than decent bass in your listening. The job now is to contain it in the room.Happy Listening !
