Do you have any experience soldering? Are there other tweaks that may help the sound without going into cabinets? It may be in your best interest to look elsewhere for an improvement. I'm assuming these are Jm.focal's we're talking about!? If so the construction is probably already above average. If you can't resist, take a look inside and see what it looks like. Are the terminals soldered or do they have push on blade connectors? Does is look like cheap wire? I'd do this before deciding. Hope this helps.
