Modifiying my Toshiba K-710 DVD player, need help on questions

about analog output caps. I don't have the schematics but I traced the analog output back to some 47uF/16V BP caps. I don't want to put the same value electrolytics back in because I want to use what I have on hand which is are .47uf, 1.0uF, 3.0uF, or 4.7uf Auricaps. Will changing from the original caps value to any of the values for the Auricaps be OK or do they have to be the exact same value or close to it? Would there be any danger of DC getting through to the preamp or will there just be some small harmless audible pop? My DIY preamp has input caps 1.0uf Auricaps caps and the same on the preamp's output. any help info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
