Das ist nicht richtig, mein freund ! I live in a retirement community of about 40K souls in S. Az. There is no industry whatsoever anywhere near here, so you would expect almost totally pristine AC delivered to my humble abode. Re-read the first sentence : "THAT IS NOT TRUE, MY FRIEND !" If you do some research on the subject you will find that all of your household appliances (anything with a motor), dimmers, etc.generate huge amounts of EMI/RFI and other garbage, to say nothing of what goes on at your neighbors. Also, 'events' more than a thousand miles away can cause serious perturbations on your AC service. I use a 15A and a 6A Iso tfmr. on my equipment. When I recently added a high grade outlet I noticed a significant increase in fine detail that wasn't there before due to the gunk riding on my AC mains. However, we are all entitled to our sophomoric delusions.Happy Dreaming !
