Re: Which belden cable for video third of Red, White, and Yellow composite?

I use Belden 1694 for diy video RF coaxial and composite cables, (but use regular audio interconnects for the audio signals of the composites), also for my 3 wire component cables, with Canare connectors. The 1695 is the more expensive "plenum rated" version, but if you already have it...

For long s-video runs I use diy double runs of the same 1694, with s-video breakout adapters at each end. This is basically a y-connector with one s-video male plug on one end, two coaxial male connectors on the other. If your local ET store doesn't sell them, you can order through Blue Jeans cable.

For short s-video, I use regular s-video mini coaxial, as it is not worth the expense or performance gain to do the above setup.
