Well Mikie, I don't want noisy amp of course, just to understand SW PS better as this is become more and more in the future, and I believe if done well, it coud actually be cleaner then our 50-60 c/s. Tone generator's sine wave amplified is not efficient, I did get a true sine wave inverter to drive my Ampex F44 in 240v/50c/s environment, but now am looking for clean and higher efficiency power supply which I believe it could be done if the waveform is sine wave...
