An aquiantance of mine has replaced a rotten Dynaudio 30W5406 with a 30W100XL08. The crossover point up to a D54 (yes the old one) is 800 Hz. He feels the sound has deteriorated dramatically. Maybe the 30W100XL cannot reach the 800 Hz without dropping off.
The original kit is from 1982 called DF-4-210.
