I eventually became tired of the Tivoli's still-boxy "retro" sound and opted to connect the table radio (as placed on a nightstand) to my bedroom's audio system across the room...Note: I used the Tivoli's headphone output instead of the line-out so as to control volume at arm's length (no need for remote contol).
