Hi,
I hope this isn't too strange of a question - hopefully Ethan and John can give me some insight. Can I cover a wall panel with acoustic foam? I suppose this is really just increasing the effective depth of the sound-absorbing material so shouldn't hurt.
Basically looking to make a 4" thick wall panel with the acoustical surfaces acoustic cotton and then facing with some 1" acoustic foam in place of the burlap.
This is more of a cosmetic issue - I like the looks of the surfaced texture acoustic foam rather than a single large swath of burlap.
Thanks,
Chris
