I realize you have already built the frames (2'x 4' right) but as you gain experience with these, and if you decide you need more, think about moving them around and mixing them up with much narrower panels.I've recently made some 8" x 4' panels, and have 6 per side of the room with a 6" gap in between each panel. The combination on each wall of some reflective area, some absorptive, and some diffusive (all those edges) made a very positive difference in my room. It took a fair bit of trial and error but worth it.
Those 2'x 4' panels will cover a lot of area, depending on the size of your room. If things end up sounding too dead, you can always use the larger panels for the front or back walls, or even ceiling, and put narrower panels on the side walls. As always of course, you have to experiement in your own room
