they work the absolute best on the digital side where there is a steady current demand... paradoxically you get more openness on the lower intensity moments and some squashing on the full throttle... they were most excellent on my transport (and also on the digtal output wire before it terminated at the BNC).... have never fully liked them on line level signal, they file the edge off a hair too much...
