Put a "2S" in front of A1490 or C3854

Here is something to remember.

When you see a transistor labled A1490 or C3854 put a 2S in front of it.

As I recall the 2 is the number of juntions (bipolar transistors have 2 unless they are a darlington) the "S" stands for silicon. The A and C are the frequency responce or type group.

So the "2S" is implied and often left off by Japanise manufacturers.

Another thing to remember 99.99999% of bipolar transistors in this package design are Bace Collector Emitter looking at the front starting at the left.
