Re: Why some TV's use 32 ohm speakers, could I use 8 or 4 ?

I would be careful with anything much lower than 32, mebbe 16. The internal amps are probably as junky as the speakers and will be stressed by the more severe loads. My suggestion is to put a 1K resistor across the speaker output wires and tap off the signal to an external amp.
