The closest I could afford was to select a home with a proper L-W-H ratio living room (yes, the living room was a huge factor in my purchase decision). If I could afford a home with a dedicated room other than the living room or master bedroom that could do a duty proper, it would be a sweet thing (not many extra bedrooms are large enough, and a basement is a dreary thing). Down the road, perhaps...
