Silver IS more expensive, in raw form, than 4 9's copper. Solid silver RCAs are a specialty item, and hence, subject to specialty luxury premiums for those who REALLY need their silver RCAs. Solid silver RCA females are available from goertz, I believe, but I think they're pricier than the WBTs
