They are fine and the Dales resistors sound good, better in my opinion than the SMD (no name) on DACT. BUT 24 steps are not enough, You need at least 1/2 dB steps in the listening range. Gets expensive though.Make sure the ones you get are 2 resistor attentuators not series steps.
