I upgraded my transport's digital output jack with Vampire copper body female rca. It certainly performs better than the stock output jack. In retrospect, I wish I had done so with a WBT NextGen since it's said to be better for digital. Canare's rca jack is said to be the defacto SP/DIF jack. I opted for the Vampire since I was able to order it per single (and favored a copper connector).
