and u should find their thickness varied, and because of the incorporation of safety shutter, the jacking motion to slot-in the plug would pry open the copper contacts of the socket, losing clamping ability causing failure and possible hazardous results.
The rounded socket contact of 5 and 15 amp simply provides more grip and most certified appliances already house with internal fuse relying no add on fuse plug!
