I tried Mundorffs as coupling capacitors in EL84 PP amp, very good highs - extremly detailed and nice, midrange is liquid but colored and bass is muddy and slow. Not tonally balanced - on the bright side. Generally, better then Auricaps but much worse then cheaper Jupiter Beeswax. Dont know Cardas. If you can, try Audyn Supreme Plus (not zinc) caps from Germany - good detal and and perfect control (bass is outstanding) - midrange not so liquid like oils and not so much dynamic (like Auricaps) but overall sound is perfect concerning price. Zinc version has sound similar to Auricaps but bit better. I tried Audyn Plus in 3 amps and they did miracles there.
