I have not checked the fuses since the unit is all working except the fan.
The fan is not frosen and can be turned by hand.
This is a 24v dc fan, as marked in fan.
I do not know if the fan circuit only turns on the fan at a predetermined tempature or not but it is still not turned on even the unit unit is running quite hot.
I measured the ohmic resistances of the 3 wires of the fan but got all open circuited.
It is so strange that the drive circuit can detect the presence of this fan and allow the unit to power up, but I can only measure like a open circuit.
I have just bought this unit cheaply and found that it is quite a nice unit soundwise, with a built in DAC. But it worries me is that most of the supply regulator transistors/ dropper resistors are running very hot, so it definite needs a fan to coolthem down.
