I've borrowed a couple of ASC tube traps from my dealer to see what they would do in my room, and so far I'm very impressed. It's an older, mismatched pair (one is 11" the other 9"), that sit on top of a square "resonator" which the dealer says allows the smaller traps to work down to a lower level (behave like a larger trap). I don't think ASC makes the square "resonators" any more, so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. Are they as good as just buying the larger diameter traps? Any thoughts on the upside or downside of these older models would be appreciated.
