FWIW, Sonic Craft's Jeff Glowacki is highly respected around here and believes the M-Cap S/O to be a very-good-sounding, FAST, capacitor that does NOT sound sterile or characterless. He sells them too, altho they're not on his website. I've used them as couplers in my Audio Refinements Pre 5 preamp and ASL 805 SET poweramps, and altho I'm more a tin-eared audiofool than a GEA, they sound VERY good to me. Also, they'll be going in the tweeter circuit of my incoming Eminent Technology 8s.I'd use a 4.7 and a 0.82 for 5.52uF± 2%. Or you could ask Madisound or Sonic Craft to measure a few 5.6s and pick the lowest values they can find. Then again, just buy the 5.6 as it's only 2% over the VERY-NOMINAL 5.5uFs of the original.
While you're in there, it makes sense (to me) to replace all the resistors with Mills noninductive wirewounds, available from Michael Percy Audio. Also, if there are inductors in series with the signal, consider replacing them with some high-quality copper-foil inductor from Solo or Alpha-Core.
Good luck. I've rebuilt many crossovers with better parts and it's always rewarded me with cleaner sound.
