Any Tweeks on a Denondvd1600?

I am new to this sight. I have looked at it several times but never posted. I am interested in upgradeing my denon dvd1600 player or Toshiba 4700dvd player. I can not find any tweeks or upgrades on these particular models. I am a total novice when it comes to this stuff. But a tweeker at heart. I hate digital sounding midrange. I want a very smooth sounding analogue quality midrange. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I would sure appreciate it.
