i am working with a textile dome tweeter that seems to have lost some of its output or sensitivity - not a magnet problem tho or coil. it appears that the coating on the textile may have seen its best days and placing a small piece of tape over the dome increased output using a spl meter figururing that air is getting through the textile dome. what is a good way to coat the dome? some say using a 3-m spray adhesive? rubber cement? some other resin doping/damping compound?
