The aluminum are no longer made, I think; though there may still be a few around. They are a pretty good cap, much better than an Axon, SCR, Wonder, 716P in the signal path. My call would be that they are about equal overall to the Auri, though different in sound, the Auricap being a little harsh, the Jensen a little 'white'.The Jensen copper is another step up sonically. My fave caps nowadays are Jensen copper in smaller values (up to, say, .47µF), and Mundorf Silver Supremes in the larger values. I think it's maybe actually a wash; they are both very clear, quiet, with high tonal color.
