Just remember that not all power conditioners are created the same, nor address the same issues. I'm always cautious about painting with a very broad brush, especially in the power quality arena. What can work splendidly in one system/location can have ho-hum results elsewhere, and vice-versa. What changed here? Not the power conditioner. The same effect(s) apply to power cabling, as both of these products are interacting with the power supplies of a myriad number of disparate components. Unfortunately, there is no level playing field with which to make unqualified pronouncements....but all of your suggestions (past and current) *do* work....thank goodness for that, if people take the time and give them a try.
