Hi Mike,
I have built, here in Portugal, one of the kits advertised in the german site you mention, although it was not bought from them.
Actually it is a model from VISATON, their best, by the way, the Monitor 890. I just decided to build a variation of the bass loading.Mine is a jensen-Onken rather than a plain reflex type, as in the original mdel.
The mid and treble are horn loaded, the overall efficiency is reasonably hight at 94 db/watt, and the sound just superb.
They are quite big, though.
