I just paid to much for an old Sugden A21 amp that I have been wanting. It is in really nice cosmetic condition but after opening it up it looks like I need to replace the PS electrolytics.I can put them in no problem but where should I go for these. I mean what it the best source and brand. It looks like I have 4 2500uF 40v 70degree can caps. One is just plain ugly the the others are showing signs of leaking.
Second one transistor is not the same as the other three. First I am not at all a transistor person. So my question first how do I determine if the replacement transistor is a match for the original spec wise and then should one just change all of these with more modern units? I am not really looking to upgrade just restore.
Thanks a lot
