Re: What kind of feet to use on glass shelves

My second system has a glass rack that my TV sits atop. I isolate all the components underneath with Clearaudio Magix. They're essentially two magnets housed in a rather tall housing, and the idea is that the opposite attraction of the magnets "float" the component. It's a pretty interesting idea, and they work extremely well under my integrated amp and DVD player. I don't think they ever caught on with the public, though, because of their height. Many people just didn't have the rack height to fit both them AND a tallish component. Pity.
