Unless I'm mistaking what you are calling casters (essentially a moving footer like a wheel in effect), then you are taking an odd approach. For vibration control you don't want the rack to be moving, even if you cannot see it. Casters are designed to permit you to roll furniture along and even though they might be slightly more resistant to starting that smooth bearing wheels in some cases, they still move horizontally.They don't channel vibrations in a direction that is usually considered optimal for coupling in audio, and they don't isolate at all. So they're simply the wrong thing to do. Why would you want a wheel device on a rack that's supposed to be rock stable (although some of the tonier designs make a big point of structurally directed directly vertical coupling)?????
IMHO, audio racks are not the same as furniture in the usual sense, though they often have to do double duty there.
