Carbon Fiber? HD-Aerogel?

206.101.70.201

For my next project (aperiodic 2-way), I'm leaning toward the Audax HM210C0 (8" carbon fiber), though for about $10 more I could get the HM210Z0 (8" HD-Aerogel). I've really liked carbon fiber cones I've heard... clean midrange and tight lower response; I've not heard the Aerogel (that I'm aware of). If it matters, I've settled on the Seas H881 27mm chambered textile tweeter. My goal is a very neutral sounding speaker (minimal coloration and best possible transients).

Any experience with and comments about either material would be appreciated. If anyone has experience with both diaphragm materials, what can you tell me of how they compare? Specific experience with either of these drivers is especially welcome, as well as suggestions of similar drivers.
