A very old audio truism is "The best cap is no cap at all". If you have found a cap that is 'inaudible' you may have found the perfect cap (for that application). I would have to ask whehter that 'inaudible' cap sounds better that what it replaced. If so, you have made a great improvement indeed. By the way, I have seen a lot of 600v Russian military teflon caps for sale on e-Bay @ what seem like reasonable prices.Happy Listening !
