I own the Ah! Tjoeb 4000 w/upsampler and I am interested in doing some mods to the player to take it to the next level. I was thinking about an aftermarket perfromance clock. I would like to build a nice high quality power supply for the new clock and to power the upsampler board. The upsampler requires 10v, 5v, gnd and I think most of the clocks run at 5v. How difficult would it be to build a small power supply just to power the clock/upsampler, the upsampler board also contains the DAC in the Ah! Tjoeb so I think giving it its own high quality supply could increase performance quite a bit. Any opinions on this idea?? Does any of the mod companies make a prebuilt or kit power supply sutible for this application??
Thanks
Frank
