I have a pair of Bryston 7BSTs. Bryston has calculated that I needed about 0.294mfd for a -3db point of 70 hz on the balanced inputs. This has been working well. Now I want to add a passive attenuator with an input impedance of 4000. My question is do I need to recalculate the cap value? Would it work best to place the cap before or after the passive attenuator? Thanks in advance. Joe Fagan
