hi,
I have an Audiolab 8000A III, the one with dual FET input in the power amp.
The amp is not so transparent and I suspected that it is due to too many transistors in the ciruitry in each stage. The power amp has such a complicated topology with more then 5 stages of amplifcation. In the pre-amp it used diff amp yet with both input and output caps. I suspecvt with some mod the amp is capable of being a much better souding amp.
Any one has done any mod in this popular amp?
