Come on! - Beyschlag are the worst thing you could use...

I have compared S102, Holco, Riken, Resista, Mills, Tantalum, Dale (Brown), Phlips, and all the cheap carbon and metal film from China.

Beyschlag is at the bottom of the list. In fact, it infects the sound of any equipment with nastiness. They are very cheap and very reliable, but that is about all they got going for them. Even when used in power supply it infects the sound negatively. It has that cheap Beysclag sound - it dries up harmonics.

My local tech repair man used lots of Beyschlag. Time and again those equipment that goes through his hands got infected. As soon as they were removed the sound improved.

My first experience with them was when the local tech guy sold me a bunch for my EAR phono upgrade over the cheap OEM resistors. I put in about 30 pieces from signal to PS sections. After 50 hours of break-in, they still sounded terrible. At first I removed only the ones in the signal path, but even then the terrible sound remains. I finally have to remove them all to restore listenability.

Ever since, I have been advocating Beysclag removal in my community. Evberyone who removed Beyschlag can't thank me enough.

My favourites are Riken, S102 and Mills. Dale (shinny brown) is cheap and very acceptable - the sound is somewhere between S102 and the NOS Holco which are a bit too warm for me.

Cheers
