The fuse already does that. Just try fuse w/ greater (amps) rating, or else this maybe a good 1st time soldering project for you.You could also bypass the fuse by say; clipping a peice of wire between the fuse + clamp, or wrap the fuse in foil, or do something similar to (again) bypass it...
BEWARE! Know what you are getting in to by omitting the fuse!
