Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

Folks:I am trying to locate potential rack-mount chassis suppliers for a couple of big audio projects (both solid state and hybrid designs). I'm interested in sourcing "high end" quality chasses -- you know, that really thick front panel (at least 0.25"), heavy gauge aluminum chassis, gorgeous sort of enclosure. Someone has to make them, right?
I have considered Hammond, Bud and several of the less expensive suppliers. I have also purchased several chasses from Horace Atkinson (of IAGAudio fame) which were terrific, but not what I'm looking for this time. While this isn't a cost-is-no-object search (we all have limits), I'm trying to find something really special.
Can anyone recommend another supplier?
Regards,
Scott
