Thanks!Actually the caps are rather 'audiophile' as they are AN Copper/Oil caps. But I guess wire is better than a cap and also think a PIO is not the best option here.
I will measure DC with a muli-meter, and than add a short over the output cap to try as you suggested.
If anybody else wants to share experiences, I'm all ears (eyes).
