Page 11 just shows the concept, page 12 shows it used in a tube cicuit with component values.If you want to use the same circuit in a passive loop you will need to be aware of the existing source and load impedances.
Do you understand the reference to "time constant" on page 11?
(ie how much help do you need :-)
