you can get the OEM elastomer kit directly from Magnepan. if the wires were burned or broken you would have no sound. do this fix ASAP as your board needs refurbrishing and the wires will separate. if this happens the repair will be a nightmare and be costly.MGII's are not a true ribbon speaker, but a magnetic field planar. i still use my 30 yr olds as a standard to judge all others.
