Simply Speakers says that I need to "modify the new surrounds by cutting through them and downsizing for the 6-3/8" cone". Has anyone had any success doing this? Wouldn't this adversely affect the sound quality? I didn't realize that this particular Advent 2 model would be a pain to get an exact fit for the surround. Anyone have any experiences with this odd sized cone?
