i want to build a mono pair of stepped attenuators whose resistance value is 100k ohms, has 22 steps, and has only 8 db of attenuation (being used as a channel balance control). is this feasible? i want it to function in the preamp circuit just as a standard 100k pot
would except to have fine stepped attenuation. i tried using the
SDS labs program but the results don't look right. any help would be appreciated
