But it just doesn't "look" like walnut. I think they selected the less pretty grain because of the size of the base, and saved the prettier stuff for the larger surface areas like speaker cabinets.I think I'm going to go with the higher gloss tounge oil instead of the non glossy type. It just doesn't have any sheen.
