Al turned me onto the PWs and I like them very much. Use the larger versions on captive power cords and the smaller double one (forgot its name) on the coax leading to my receiver for FM. All work quite well, but took overnight to burn in. Don't ask me why, they just did.This is a pretty cheap tweak and quite worth the cost.
Al turned me onto other cap tricks, but I'd prefer he tell you himself. YMMV.
Also, there are some areas, like power supply lines for example, where adding anything can incur some potential danger, so you are on your own when tweaking there. Not that we all don't do it, just that the lawyers would freak out without a disclaimer!
