Agree with that statement. Using tact Millenium amp since 5 years on my DUOs and recently bought the new Tact SDA 2175 amp, unlike the Millenium a semi digital amp which has got an analog in only. Using it for bass duties only to drive separat subs.Recently took this little tact amp to a friends place, tube lover. Connected it to the fantastic Kharma 3.2 SE and AA Capitol MKII CDP replacing a huge and expensive Audio Aero tube amp.
My friend got a shock that the little tact amp (only 1100 euros in Europe) beat in many regards his expensive tube amp.
I think the only reason manufactures of SS and tube amps will survive the foreseable future is the ignorance of the average audiophile, IMHO.
